Third International Rice Congress (IRC2010)
|
gianluigi_russo@mac-oils. writes "Announcement
Dear Sir or Madam,
We are pleased to announce the Third International Rice Congress (IRC2010) to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam on 8 - 12 November 2010. With the theme "Rice for future generations”, IRC2010 is the world's largest gathering of the rice industry. Thousands of rice scientists, researchers, traders, farmers, processors, policy-makers and technology experts from around the world will be seeking solutions to the challenge of ensuring adequate rice for the future.
IRC2010 will include 5 main events including the 28th International Rice Research Conference (IRRC28), which discusses the latest scientific breakthroughs. Within IRRC28 paper and poster presentations on rice quality, health, and nutrition will be conducted. A symposium on the International Network for Quality Rice (INQR) will also be organized by Dr Melissa Fitzgerald. During the INQR symposium, a new method for measuring amylose content will be formally launched, and calibrated standards distributed to INQR members.
You can contribute to the noble goal of ensuring rice for future generations and join the historic IRC2010 by:
Joining the Research Conferences. You can now submit abstracts for poster presentations for the Quality grain, health, and nutrition theme in
IRRC28 – Deadline 30 April 2010.
“We seek papers that describe research enabling us to move beyond the current plateau, toward new and deeper understanding of genetic, metabolomic, or rheological factors that underline known traits of quality and that reveals new traits that will increase the capability of breeders to select for a specific type of quality in different genetic background.”
Exhibiting your products and services, and;
Sponsoring the 3rd International Rice Congress.
We invite you to visit www.ricecongress.com for more details.
Sincerely,
To Phuc Tuong
